Can you travel from Kuta to here using a motorbike ?? Is the tracking difficult? And how long does it take when traveling on a motorcycle ???
Ok
Rice terrace is a place you must visit. Amazing views, and you can go trek the terraces.
MoreRice Terrace at Ceking Tegalalang is one of the best view in Ubud Tourism Area...
MoreYou get good knowledge here
Nice natural view with possiblity to try some luwak coffee mix
Nice green fresh sunny.
No wonder rice terrace being included as a 7 wonder of the world. The view, the atmosphere, the air, really made me speechless. This is my first time to this place, but surely I would come to this place again if I have a chance. It's not my first time seeing the rice field, but the rice terrace is an exception. There's a choice to enjoy the view. You could enjoy the view by sitting at cafe while having coffee or juice, you decide. Or playing swing, which is provided by locals. It's only cost Rp. 50.000. Or if you like hiking, you could just walk around the rice terrace cause theres also the tracking track. I, myself, choose the third option. It was tired but worthed every step. Or you could just do all the three options, or making a new aoption which I did not mention.
MoreView was nice but you find it everywhere down the road when you drive the scooter. You meet locals and explain it all
MoreThis is a MUST see, when when visiting Bali / Ubud. The experience and amount of photos you'll get is well worth the entrance fee (and donation points). Despite paying an entrance fee, you might be blocked by locals asking / demanding a donation to pass. My recommendation is be mentally prepared for this, remember that you are a visitor, and just keep small bills on you.
MoreAmazing Spot for amazing photos!
Very very very beautiful
Must visit if you are in Bali..
Good
Interesting spot for tourists.
Uniquely beautiful, so green and full of life. It's funny as you have tourists and hotels and shops and merchants piled up on the one side then you have them spilling over and onto the living rice terrace, wow what elegant chaos. NOTE you pay for an entry ticket, that's I hear to help support the city. Then as you explore the terrace, there are little regions, sections owned by individuals or neighborhoods I guess, that also collect "donations" to help support and keep it clean. It is small change for US$ so don't sweat it, go enjoy this living masterpiece!
MoreVery great journey with my friend visit at rice terrace,i explore information and the view is very spectacular, for all my friends wherever of yours come to Bali and visit to tegalalang rice terrace, thanks for your time.
MoreDefinitely must visit place! One of my favorite place in Bali
Good to see nothing surprise 😃
A great photo opportunity
The rice terraces no have entrance ticket, just donations only, and not so many point to have donation like the other rice terraces, the other one, you will buy a ticket , and when you go down , there are many peoples will asking you about the ticket And I would like tell the visitors, that rice terraces in paku duwi is highly recommended for visit
MoreCool tracking
The sub-urban region in gianyar, Bali. Always love the ambience of rice terraces, the weather is slightly cold and i love it so much. Across the rice terrace there are lots of souvenir shops with good deal price that makes me surprised 👍🏻
MoreVery picturesque. Lots of food and shops. Activities are flying fox and swing which are around 300k
MoreBEWARE!!! We were kicked out of the restaurant because we were haggled by this person and his friend asking for 100k rp for each person in our party. We could not enter any restaurants because of this person. We were very disappointed. Never going back ever again! Telling all our friends about this horrible place.
MoreImpressive, price for swings is too high.
This place is gorgeous! We enjoyed walking along the terraces and I took a turn on the giant swing. So much fun!
MoreThere are several similar places where one can walk among the rice terraces and observe this ancient agricultural practice of rice farming. I enjoyed doing so since I had first seen rice farming back in Louisiana while on a trip with my father as a sixth grade elementary school student.
MoreMany tourists. However, first pay an entrance fee at the tourist information, then you can pay customs duties on several occasions on the field to proceed. Keep in mind that the greenery depends on the harvest period. Very beautiful
MoreOne of the better spots to see the rice terraces
The views throughout this place was absolutely amazing me and wife went on ATV ridding throughout the rice terraces and love every minute of the journey
MoreBeautiful place
I was here on a family holiday with my then 2 year old daughter. The view is amazing and serene. There are a lot of places to dine and eat traditional food and all have a great view of the rice fields.Lot’s of local shops selling hand made bags and decor. A good place to by souvenirs. I went on the jungle swing which was amazing. The area isn’t stroller friendly as there are lot’s of steps going down the terrace so we left our stroller at the restaurant we dined in they were super helpful. You can spend a whole day here
MoreNice place
the beautiful scenery is good for relaxation but the swing attendant at the entrance which in pakudui is very disappointing in rough language like not needing the consumer please help the owner take care of the right
MoreYou have to pay now 10k pp.
Horrible cafe. They served ja cheese with chocolate and banana. Cant recommend it.
MoreGood view of contour of rice field.
Cool
Overrun by developers. If there was any charm, it's gone.
lovely place, small area to roam but for photo it is amazing look
Watch out for this guy here! They will follow you even to the restaurant and DEMAND payment at the restaurant for eating there without “buying a ticket” which costs 100k RP per person! This is a clear scammer trying to scam visitors.
MoreRice gardens everywhere you see.. this man was selling rice made cap for $1 Very friendly people and we meet farmers too
MoreAwesome place to visit for vacation! Must try swing games, zip line!! Sky bike is bit adventurous!
MoreThis area has many small stalls along the rice terrace area, mostly nameless stalls. But the feature of this place is the tracking area. You can enjoy early morning walk by the rice terraces, preferably with a guide. It is considered extremely rude and trespassing to pass through a person's field/ house without permission or accompanied by a local who can speak on your behalf. Do not take pictures of people without permission. Do not leave trash, pull out a padi shoot or do stupid tourist stunts for your social media. Bali is a mystical land, there are many unexplained things that can happen and even torment your life later if you do not pay respect to the place or people there.
MoreNice view of the rice terrace
Good for Bali swing.
“BEWARE!!! This guy followed us forcing us to buy 100k tickets per person to go into your restaurant! We could not go inside your restaurant because of him. What a SCAM!
MoreBEWARE!!! We were kicked out of the restaurant because we were haggled by this person and his friend asking for 100k rp for each person in our party. MoreVerry good
Very good escape from the city
